The key to success in any preschool is the quality of the staff.  We are so fortunate to have dedicated, experienced, and nurturing staff as well as knowledgeable, professional substitutes.

Our full time staff includes the Director, Norma Brockman (14^th year at Red Balloon). Nutritionist/Cook Jeffrey Yalan (6^th year Red Balloon) and nine classroom teachers.

Yellow Room (2 years old): 
Tara Lencl, Head Teacher (7^th year); Sandra Clark, Assistant Teacher (16^th year); Monique Gueits, Teacher’s Aide (24^th year).

Blue Room (3 years old): 
Ann Hershkowitz, Head Teacher (13^th year); Christopher Warner, Assistant Teacher (15^th year ); Lourdes Davila Rojas, Teacher’s Aide (23^rd year).

Orange Room (4 years old):
Sharon Boersma, Head Teacher (8^th year); Tristram Carver, Assistant Teacher (4^th year); Judy Victoria, Teacher’s Aide (20^th year).

All of our Head Teachers have their master's degrees in Early Childhood Education with State Certification. Currently all of our Aides are working towards their CDA degrees.

Other staff includes our Fiscal Director, Edwin Bustamante, and our Special Needs Coordinator, Sue Carbary, both of whom work at the school two days per month.

All of our teachers attend workshops each year as well as staff meetings.
